Maria Sabina, known as the "Curandera of the Sacred Mushrooms," was a Mazatec healer and shaman from the Sierra Mazateca region of Oaxaca, Mexico. She gained international recognition for her traditional use of psilocybin-containing mushrooms in healing ceremonies. Maria Sabina's work centered around the spiritual and healing properties of the mushrooms, which she believed allowed individuals to connect with divine realms, receive guidance, and heal physical, emotional, and spiritual ailments.

Maria Sabina's ceremonies were deeply rooted in indigenous Mazatec traditions and involved chanting, prayer, and the ingestion of psilocybin mushrooms as sacraments. She saw herself as a conduit between the earthly realm and the spirit world, facilitating healing and transformation through her connection with the mushrooms and ancestral wisdom.

The land of Maria Sabina, located in the Sierra Mazateca, is imbued with a rich tapestry of natural beauty, spiritual significance, and ancient wisdom. The rugged mountains, lush forests, and sacred rivers provide a sacred backdrop for healing, introspection, and connection with the natural world. It is a land where the veil between the seen and unseen worlds is thin, inviting participants to journey inward, explore the depths of their consciousness, and tap into the profound wisdom of the land and its inhabitants.

Embodying the magic of Maria Sabina's land means honoring the traditions, wisdom, and healing practices of the Mazatec people while embracing the transformative power of nature and psychedelic medicines. It is a journey of reverence, respect, and surrender to the mysteries of existence, guided by the wisdom of the land and the spirits that dwell within it. In this sacred space, participants have the opportunity to undergo profound healing, spiritual awakening, and personal transformation as they embark on a journey of self-discovery and connection with the divine.
